Intterior Compass — Clarity, Direction, Growth

Run your studio on patterns, not on memory.

Intterior Compass is a consulting practice built from sixteen years inside interior design businesses — now becoming a set of tools, dashboards, and AI agents that surface the patterns already sitting in your own data.

Intterior Compass started as a consulting practice for interior design and adjacent industry founders.

Intterior Compass started as a consulting practice for interior design and adjacent industry founders — the ones doing beautiful work while quietly drowning in cash flow, hiring, and clients who disappear without warning. We didn't come from generic strategy consulting. We came from the client meetings, the vendor calls, the 11pm site-visit follow-ups. That's the difference: we recognise the pattern because we've lived it, not because we read it in a case study.

Today we work two ways: direct consulting with studios who want hands-on help, and a growing platform of tools and worksheets that put the same diagnostic thinking directly in your hands, on demand.

Four ways we work with studios

We don't sell one package. We find out what's actually breaking, then bring in the right engagement.

01

01Business audits

A deep look at your projects, pricing, and process to find exactly where time and money are leaking.

  • Project profitability review
  • Pricing & scope analysis
  • A written report, not a slide deck
02

02Sales & client systems

Turn client conversations into a repeatable system for asking questions, setting expectations, and closing.

  • Discovery-call framework
  • Objection & expectation scripts
  • Follow-up sequences that don't feel pushy
03

03Team & process design

Build the checklists and workflows so your studio survives the one week you're unreachable.

  • SOPs for your recurring project stages
  • Role clarity for small teams
  • Handoff systems between design and execution
04

041:1 founder coaching

Ongoing, direct support for founders making the jump from solo designer to business owner.

  • Monthly working sessions
  • Decision support on real, current problems
  • Direct access between sessions

A straightforward way in

  1. Step 01

    Free diagnostic

Start with a worksheet or a short call. No commitment, just a clearer look at where you stand.

  2. Step 02

    Pattern review

We walk through what your own data is already telling you — together.

  3. Step 03

    Engagement design

We recommend the smallest engagement that actually fixes the problem, not the biggest one.

  4. Step 04

    Working together

Audits, systems, coaching, or tools — whichever fits, delivered on a clear timeline.

Book a free Discovery Call

We select our clients. We only take on a handful of studios at a time, because the work is hands-on and we'd rather go deep with a few than shallow with many. Tell us a little about your business and we'll see if you qualify for our free discovery call.

// tools

Consulting, turning into software.

We're building the tools we used to do by hand into a proper platform — dashboards that show your studio's patterns in real time, and agents that do the analysis we used to do manually. Watch a quick demo of each below.

The book behind these worksheets.

Interior Compass isn't just a business book — it's a workbook for interior design founders who are excellent at design and exhausted by everything else. Every chapter takes one thing every founder has lived through — a client who ghosts, a “just one small change” that blows the timeline, a project that quietly bleeds money — and instead of handing over generic advice, hands over a worksheet built from your own numbers, your own clients, your own week. The idea isn't to teach anyone to be a better designer. It's to help them see the patterns already sitting inside their own business, the ones they're too busy running it to notice.
